John Chambers, MD
Dr. Chambers, is a highly skilled, board-certified physician in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. He is also Level 2 trained in CT Coronary Angiography, the highest level of expertise for this procedure.
He went to medical school and was Chief Resident at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. He also completed a fellowship there as Chief Fellow. Dr. Chambers is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.
As a cardiologist, Dr. Chambers is a caring individual who works hard to provide his patients with a high level of healthcare, whether it is for angiography, angioplasty, or pacemaker implantation. He also spends time educating his patients about cardiovascular disease prevention, particularly in women.
Dr. Chambers enjoys cardiology because it is technology driven and provides him with the opportunity to constantly learn about new devices and techniques. He finds it very rewarding to treat patients and see a dramatic improvement fairly quickly.
Dr. Chambers volunteers at the Idaho Falls Gymnastic Association and the Idaho Falls Children s Arts. He has three children and loves the dry air and mountains of our area. He also enjoys water skiing, snow skiing, and scuba diving.
