Dr. Scott Hardy
Dr. Scott Hardy, was originally from Brigham City, Utah. He attended medical school at Ohio University and now works as a family practitioner in Rexburg, Idaho.
He feels the most important aspect of medicine is caring and ensuring patients “ They trust you to care for them.” He says.
Dr. Hardy particularly enjoys looking after the needs of his elderly patients. “They have the most interesting stories and a lot of times come in not needing a significant amount of help, but sometimes just needing someone to listen to them, or even a hug.”
He came to Rexburg for the warm environment of a small college town and for its lush green scenery. Dr. Hardy especially takes pleasure in the beauty and serenity of farmlands.
Dr. Hardy has five children. He spends his free time gardening, hiking and skiing. His ideal vacation spot would be anywhere quiet and peaceful with mountains and trees.
