Dr. Steven Lofgran is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician. Academic interests include critical care, inpatient medicine (Hospitalist Medicine), and general outpatient medicine, including diabetes management, pulmonary medicine, and refractory hypertension. Dr. Lofgran especially enjoys taking care of patients who smoke, and yes, he will ask you at every visit if you have quit yet.
Dr. Lofgran was raised in Rexburg, as was his wife, Brandi. He served an LDS mission in the Netherlands and Belgium, and offers interpretation services for the many Dutch and Flemish natives that come through his office. He returned in 2007 after education at Brigham Young University (go Cougars!), Ross University, and the University of Utah (go Cougars!). They have 6 children, all above average in every shape and form.
For relaxation, he enjoys golfing, camping, hiking, and rebuilding and burning up off road trails in one of his Land Cruiser off-roaders.
