This class is designed for those who work in healthcare settings and who need to know the skills of resuscitation when taking care of their patients. Upon completion of the class a course completion card is provided that satisfies most employers’ requirements for BLS.
Advanced Life Support Classes
Advanced Life Support Classes are for healthcare providers who would like or are required to know advanced knowledge and skills in caring for patients in or near to arrest.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
During this course participants are taught assessment and treatment for those in cardiac arrest or who are close to arrest. Ten core cases are taught, each teaching and building upon the knowledge of the previous case. A written test and simulated cardiac arrest must be completed in order to pass this course. An American Heart Association course completion card is provided for completion.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support for the Experienced Provider (ACLS EP)

Following renewal pre-arrest cases are reviewed bringing new information to those who use ACLS skills frequently, or who have taken the standard ACLS class and wish a chance to learn new information. An ACLS EP card is issued and fulfills the requirements of an ACLS course completion card.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
PALS is an American Heart Association two-day course for the healthcare provider who works with sick children on a regular basis. This class teaches assessment knowledge and skills to prevent arrests, and also the skills to manage arrests if they occur. A PALS course completion card is provided.
Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS)
PEARS is an American Heart Association one-day course for the healthcare provider who does not work with sick children regularly. Some of the assessment tools of the PALS class are taught and emphasis is placed on quick recognition of a child who is in trouble medically, and obtaining the correct help to prevent arrests. A PEARS course completion card is provided.
Life Support Renewals
HCP BLS, ACLS and PALS can all be renewed through online courses that offer the didactic part of each course as well as the written exam. Upon completion of the online course a follow up skills test is provided by appointment. A course completion card is then issued.
